Jackets & Layers

What goes on top. The hooded shell jacket is seam-sealed and windproof with zip pockets on the chest and hips, and the fleece quarter-zip is the mock-neck layer for the cold end of a run. Two very different jobs, no overlap.

Outer layers

A sealed-seam shell and a fleece to wear under it

The short list of things TEZO makes for weather. The rain jacket is 100% polyester with a waterproof coating and seams welded with a TPU membrane, a detachable hood and velcro cuffs. The fleece quarter-zip is the mid-layer: microfleece, mock collar, metal zip.

Worth knowing

Coated is not the same as sealed

Most cheap shells coat the fabric and leave the stitch lines alone, which is where water gets in first. This one has every seam taped and welded, and the pockets are sealed too. That is the difference you feel two hours into steady rain.
